BEES

It’s All About The Bees.

Keeping bees is an all-consuming passion.

Honey bees are collectively a super organism. Bees live in a complex  society that has been described as a form of “democracy” given how they work in sync as a colony. Honey bees have a major impact on our planet and food supply. Properly managing bee colonies is an intensive year round process and a passion we share as a family. We are committed to doing what is required to enable them to thrive  in every season and then share the fruits of their labor with people who genuinely appreciate their hard work and natural, raw honey. The way it should be.

Here, the Bees Come First.

At Moonstruck, that’s been our mantra since day one. Bees first, honey second. Because, quite simply, bees are everything. To every living thing that calls this planet home, bees matter. A lot. So, we pour our heart and soul into helping them thrive as they are challenged by climate change, loss of habitat, pests and parasites. We never use any chemicals or other synthetic treatments in our hives.

We don’t keep bees for the honey, we keep bees because we love bees. Yes, we harvest honey each year and handle it with hands-on care from hive to jar. But we never take more than they can comfortably share with us.

Every jar of Moonstruck Honey sold helps
support the future of honey bees.
